An irreplaceable classic romance: Lisa will reinterpret Notting Hill, starring in all English and serving as producer

Take Lisa, who recently became a brand ambassador for Nike and Shiseido: following her appearance in “The White Lotus 3,” she’ll soon return with a new screen project, an as-yet-untitled romantic comedy. The surprise is that Lisa won’t just be acting this time… she’ll also serve as a producer!

Netflix recently announced that Lisa will star in a romantic comedy inspired by the classic film “Notting Hill.” The story follows a female superstar and an ordinary man who meet and fall in love.

Reportedly, it began on the set of “The White Lotus 3,” where Lisa and executive producer David Bernad discussed their shared love of “Notting Hill.” Netflix later joined the conversation and enlisted Katie Silberman, the screenwriter behind “Set It Up” and “Booksmart,” to write the script. Unlike Lisa’s upcoming action blockbuster “TYGO,” this romantic film hopes to move audiences through humorous, warm storytelling.

Although only preliminary details have been released so far, the story will retain the romance between a superstar and an ordinary person. Lisa will take on the female lead in an all-English performance, while her label LLOUD and David Bernad’s Middle Child Productions will co-produce the project.
