The most luxurious F1 experience is here: LVMH launches 12-seat mobile Michelin restaurant The Out Lap
This Michelin meal is pure extravagance
Summary
- Formula 1 and Moët Hennessy have launched a new VIP experience called The Out Lap.
- Limited to just 12 seats worldwide, guests can enjoy a Michelin-starred dinner inside a glass viewing carriage.
- The experience will then tour F1 races in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and other stops, with each location featuring an exclusive menu created by a different starred chef.
- According to Reuters, the experience costs around £10,000 (about NT$430,000), and you must already hold a three-day Paddock Club pass to add it on.
This year, Formula 1 teamed up with Moët Hennessy, part of the LVMH Group, to launch The Out Lap, taking the race-viewing experience to a new level. A fully transparent glass carriage becomes a 12-seat mobile restaurant that travels around Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Guests can enjoy Michelin-starred cuisine while passing iconic corners such as Eau Rouge and Raidillon, listening to former F1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve, former F1 driver and commentator Karun Chandhok, and Naomi Schiff share stories of the track, making every course part of F1 legend.

The menu for the first stop was personally designed by French chef Yannick Alléno, who holds the most Michelin stars in the world. Inspired by the Spa circuit, the exclusive menu includes wagyu beef, foie gras, and smoked salmon, with each dish corresponding to a different piece of the track’s history or a landmark. The drinks list, curated by Moët Hennessy, includes Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 1996, Hennessy cognac, and Glenmorangie whisky, fully reflecting LVMH’s vision of a luxury dining experience.

Although the official price has not been announced, Reuters reports that The Out Lap costs about £10,000 per guest (around NT$ 430,000). Even those willing to pay cannot book directly: participants must first hold a three-day Formula 1 Paddock Club pass to be eligible to purchase the add-on.
The Out Lap is not a one-off event; it will travel the world throughout the Formula 1 season. After Belgium, it will head to the Netherlands (August 21-23), Italy (September 4-6), and Spain (September 11-13). Each stop will invite a different internationally acclaimed chef to create a limited menu inspired by local culture, ingredients, and track stories, making every dinner an experience that cannot be replicated.
