And “Unlock” doesn’t stop in the app. Google Korea later extended the game to Instagram, asking fans to work together to reach 70,000 likes and unlock unreleased BTS photos. ARMY did push the progress to 100%, and new photos of all seven members were officially released.

“Follow along at every tour stop” is more like a BTS information hub. Each day, Gemini compiles trending and official updates from the past 48 to 72 hours, then lists key events for the next two weeks, automatically converting them to the user’s local time zone.
The final feature is language learning. In the global version, “Learn Korean with BTS” guides fans in practicing speaking and writing through phrases used in fan letters, online comments, and everyday conversations, along with audio pronunciation. The learning content available also adjusts based on the interface language.

Fans could track the real-time progress through Google Korea’s Instagram Stories, and the mission ultimately reached its goal. On September 4, Google Korea officially shared new photos of all seven members under the heading “BTS PHOTOS UNLOCKED,” turning the Unlock concept that had existed only in Gemini into a social game completed by fans together.
