If you love grabbing a drink on the weekend and enjoying a slightly tipsy night out, your go-to list is about to get longer. Earlier today, Rosewood Hong Kong shared some exciting news: they are teaming up with the city’s highly popular Bar Leone to create a brand-new bar concept.
When the Number One Hotel Meets the Number One Bar
This collaboration is a true meeting of giants. If you follow the rankings, you’ll know Rosewood Hong Kong just secured the global number one spot on the “World’s 50 Best Hotels” list for both 2025 and 2026. Bar Leone, meanwhile, took the top spot on the 2025 “World’s 50 Best Bars” list. With these two major landmarks coming together—personally steered by Bar Leone founders Lorenzo Antinori and Justin Shun Wah—we can’t wait to see what kind of surprises they have in store.

So far, the official announcement only hints that the new bar is slated to open in November 2026. More details and a look at the interior design won’t be revealed until late October.
