At the recently concluded Milan Fashion Week, ANTEPRIMA’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection invited us into creative director Izumi Ogino’s whimsical world through a fantasy garden called ANTEPRIMA GIARDINO. This season centers on “Curiouser and Curiouser,” inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Yet the pieces that had fashion girls looking twice were undoubtedly the new WIREBAG designs on the runway, which perfectly transformed garden imagery into bags.
Ruffles and 3D roses bring romance to classic bags
Readers familiar with ANTEPRIMA will know BOXXIE and STANDARD MINIATURA. This time, the brand has cleverly incorporated soft garden details into its bags: the Wire Ruffle line adds delicate, layered ruffles to the exterior of the popular BOXXIE WIREBAG, giving its clean, boxy silhouette a lighter, softer touch. The Floreale line, meanwhile, uses hand-crocheted roses to give the STANDARD MINIATURA WIREBAG a striking three-dimensional look.
