Sip the world’s No. 7 without getting on a plane: Jordan’s Terrible Baby hosts an Asia’s 50 Best Bars pop-up, teaming up with four of the world’s top bars for a limited time

We’re already halfway through July, and after work on a weekend night, all you want is a place to unwind over drinks with friends. Terrible Baby, the rooftop bar at Eaton HK, has some good news: to celebrate the annual bar-industry event Asia’s 50 Best Bars, it will host a series of limited-time pop-ups at the end of July 2026. This time, four internationally renowned bar teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and Milan, Italy, including a top-10 bar in the world, will make guest appearances in Hong Kong, giving cocktail lovers the chance to sample world-class signature drinks on a terrace in Jordan without buying a plane ticket.

Kicking off July 25: Singapore’s craft cocktail bar Sago House

The limited-time pop-up series opens with Sago House from Duxton Hill, Singapore. Ranked No. 56 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, the bar is especially appealing for its laid-back neighborhood atmosphere and limited cocktail menu that changes weekly.

Starting at 8 p.m. on July 25, Sago House senior bartender Celest and general manager Naz Zurmi will head to Terrible Baby in collaboration with renowned Scotch whisky brand Compass Box, bringing Hong Kong guests distinctive cocktails that push beyond traditional boundaries. Sago House is known for drawing on ingredients close at hand and incorporating fresh local, seasonal ingredients into its cocktails for a playful approach to mixology.

Two leading bars join forces on July 26: Singapore’s Night Hawk and Penang’s Good Friends Club

Then, at 7 p.m. on July 26, Terrible Baby will welcome a collaboration between two popular Southeast Asian bars. One is Night Hawk, located on Tanjong Pagar Road in Singapore and ranked No. 77 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025. That evening, Composed Concepts director Peter Chua and senior bartender Samuel Pang will lead the team in presenting finely crafted cocktails that blend retro and futuristic styles.

Also making a guest appearance that evening is Good Friends Club from Penang, Malaysia, led by bar manager Kelvin Wong and senior bartender Justin Yow. What sets the bar apart is that about 85% of its ingredients are sourced directly from small farms in Penang and northern Malaysia, using cocktails to showcase the region’s rich agricultural produce. Supported by Farmer’s Gin, Michter’s Whiskey, and Siete Misterios Mezcal, the evening will highlight the diverse appeal of Southeast Asian cocktail culture.

European icon closes out the series on July 29: Milan’s Moebius, ranked No. 7 in the world

If you want to sample the celebrated cocktail artistry of one of Europe’s top bars, set a reminder for the final pop-up at 7 p.m. on July 29. Moebius from Milan, Italy, will close out the series. Ranked No. 7 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, it also received the Best Improvement Award. Housed in a converted former textile warehouse, the venue brings together Michelin dining and creative cocktails, making it a cultural landmark that many consider a must-visit in Milan. For this pop-up, Moebius founder Lorenzo Querci and bartender Andrea Giraldo will appear in person to present their widely acclaimed signature creations, with support from Cocchi and Lyre’s.

Normally, even booking one of these renowned overseas bars means facing a long line, yet now they are all gathering in Hong Kong at once. Terrible Baby’s terrace already has an exotic feel, and paired with this limited-time cocktail menu, it really gives you the pleasantly tipsy illusion of a vacation abroad. The events will begin rolling out on July 25, and each is available only while supplies last, so those interested may want to make plans with friends and head to Eaton HK early to try their luck.
