Nike x SKIMS Opens a Cafe in Tokyo! With Its Chocolate-Colored Exterior, You’ll Want to Snap a Photo Even for a Cup of Tea
Exclusively appearing in Jingumae
Walking through Tokyo’s Jingumae district, it’s hard not to stop at this chocolate-colored building. The Nike swoosh and SKIMS logo float in 3D on the exterior wall, their rounded silhouettes looking like oversized chocolate decorations. This is the NikeSKIMS pop-up cafe, giving anyone planning to shop the new collection one more reason to sit down for a cup of tea.

Located at StandBy in Jingumae, NikeSKIMS CAFE features a deep brown exterior paired with large glass windows, making the brand logos visible from both sides of the street corner. The simple square building takes on a distinct personality through its color palette and 3D lettering, making the facade alone a worthy addition to any Tokyo walking itinerary.
Inside, the cafe serves wagashi and Japanese tea-based drinks. The brand has integrated the culture of wagashi, which emphasizes the natural characteristics of ingredients, into this spatial experience. From the street-level visual design to the treats served inside, it offers a fresh take on what an athletic brand’s pop-up event can be.

The NikeSKIMS pop-up store is located nearby, just a one-minute walk away. The shop showcases the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, which combines Nike’s athletic performance with the signature body-hugging designs of SKIMS. It also includes loose jackets and pants suitable for daily wear, allowing visitors to easily combine a tea break with a shopping trip.
Note that the two locations have different closing dates: the cafe is open until October 12, from 11:00 to 19:00 daily; the pop-up store continues until November 3, open from 11:00 to 20:00 daily. If you’re in Tokyo soon, mark these dates and add this brown street corner to your itinerary.
