Look down and you’ll see two little ducks following you: Japan’s viral “duck slippers” are back in fluffy form, with new friends in tow

Japanese lifestyle goods brand Bleu Bleuet has released two styles of plush duck-shaped slippers, recreating their fluffy feathers, short beaks, and laid-back expressions in 3D. Once you slip them on, it’s like having little ducks by your feet, leisurely paddling through your home with every step.

The popular little white duck is back

The white duck slippers first launched in spring 2026 and won over fans with their adorable design. Now, they’re finally being reissued. With plump, soft white bodies and a tiny yellow beak, they don’t need any elaborate embellishments; simply sitting quietly by your feet is enough to melt your heart. There’s one duck on each foot, and as you walk around at home, their fluffy bodies move along with your steps, as though two little ducks are slowly paddling across the floor. Just looking at their cute faces might make you reluctant to put your feet in them at first.

This time, there’s also a laid-back new mallard friend

Along with the return of the little white duck, Bleu Bleuet is introducing a mallard version for the first time. Its pale green head, grayish-beige body, flat beak, and relaxed expression give it a more laid-back, playful charm than the little white duck’s innocent cuteness. Its rounded shape and fluffy texture make the slippers look like two miniature plush toys. Even when they’re not on your feet, they make a cute addition to the room by the entryway or beside the bed.

Beneath the fluffy exterior is a soft feel underfoot

Beyond their looks, both styles are made from soft, springy, fluffy material that keeps easily chilled feet wrapped up as the weather gets cooler. They fit feet measuring approximately 23 to 24 cm, while the slippers themselves measure 27 cm long and 10.5 cm wide. Bleu Bleuet’s white duck and mallard plush slippers are now available at 139 physical stores in Japan and online, while supplies last.
