・ Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli has extended founder Cristóbal Balenciaga’s iconic hourglass waistline silhouette to launch the new women’s handbag Hourglass Avenue. ・ It continues the signature curved bottom and large flap design, paired with movable double top handles and a detachable shoulder strap, offering multiple ways to carry it by hand, on the shoulder or crossbody. ・ The magnetic clasp is engraved with the historic workshop address “Balenciaga 10 Avenue George V,” subtly tying the brand’s heritage to the history of Paris. ・ The collection will be available from September 2026 at the brand’s stores in Japan, in two sizes: Small (¥434,500) and Medium (¥496,100).
