100% Doraemon Sakura Festival lands in Causeway Bay: limited-time store, capsule toy zone, themed photo booth… the pink cherry blossoms are pure girly vibes!

Remember the blue whirlwind that swept across Hong Kong last summer? Hosted by Hong Kong creative brand ARR, the “100% Doraemon & FRIENDS” exhibition toured major Asian cities including Shanghai, Taipei, and Tokyo, and now the excitement is finally returning in triumph to where it began: Hong Kong. To celebrate the tour’s success on the international stage, ARR has planned a new spring celebration, the “100% Doraemon Sakura Festival,” which opens at Hysan Place in Causeway Bay on April 3. Ready to immerse yourself in a pink Doraemon world over the Easter holiday?

Spanning three floors of Hysan Place, the “100% Doraemon Sakura Festival” offers an experience with plenty to explore. The ground floor has a limited-time shop and vending machines, so fans can stock up first. On the first floor, the “DIY Area” lets you choose your favorite embroidered patches and have them heat-pressed onto a custom keychain on-site. The same floor also has a themed photo booth and a capsule toy area. If you feel like getting active, there are two interactive game booths in the fifth-floor atrium, inviting fans back into Doraemon’s magical world through fun games.
The limited-edition souvenirs are undoubtedly the biggest draw this time! Along with the viral “rice ball Doraemon,” which makes a crisp seaweed sound when squeezed, the new “sakura Doraemon” keychain is infused with a light cherry blossom scent. There is also an event-exclusive photochromic T-shirt that reveals soft pink cherry blossom patterns in the sunlight. You’ll also find 6 mini figure blind boxes, lenticular file folders, and more. Most designs are making their global debut at Hong Kong’s Sakura Festival, and the level of detail is exceptional.
