Understated yet impossible to resist: COS Spring/Summer 2026, a blank-space love letter to the modern wardrobe
COS has this magic: it looks ordinary on the hanger, but once you put it on you never want to take it off đ
Some collections don’t rely on bold designs to catch the eye. Instead, their cuts, materials, and proportions make you want to take a second look. The new COS Spring/Summer 2026 collection is one of them. This season, Alexander SkarsgĂ„rd, Park Gyu-young, Vittoria Ceretti, and Park Tae-min front a set of campaign images that are full of tension yet restrained, capturing COS’s signature understated aesthetic: clean, grounded, and powerful.

Photographer Karim Sadli shot this campaign in a London studio. Rather than being overly loud, the visuals use the models’ poses and the silhouettes of the clothing to create a quiet yet distinct presence. COS’s signature neutral palette remains central, with an array of tonal looks adding depth and letting the materials themselves take focus. One highlight this season is the nuanced use of fabrics and surface textures. Soft leather, crocodile-embossed textures, and light, breathable linen are paired with classic elements such as fine stripes and herringbone, giving the collection rich detail within its minimalism.
The collection draws on the ease and sharpness of 1980s style, though it isn’t a recreation; those references are reworked in more contemporary proportions. Defined shoulders, high necklines, and relaxed volume give the looks an understated strength, while fluid silhouettes bring softness and ease, allowing strength and softness to coexist naturally in a single outfit. Outerwear remains central to COS this season. Trench coats come in varied silhouettes and details, from belted designs and relaxed cuts to a brown single-breasted herringbone style, all continuing the brand’s signature clean lines.
COS’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection proves once again that truly lasting style never needs to be loud. It feels more like a carefully considered way of life: structured, tactile, with enough room to breathe, bringing getting dressed back to the essence of wanting to wear something for a long time. The collection will be presented in a fashion show in Seoul, South Korea, on March 25, with a simultaneous livestream on COS’s official platforms. Add it to your fashion calendar.
