Eyewear hidden in the walls: KlassiC. Xinyi flagship opens as Crosby Studios creates a futuristic art space
From an art installation in Paris to a physical space in Taipei!
Walk into this eyewear store and you might not spot any glasses at first. Taiwanese lifestyle brand KlassiC. invited international creative spatial design studio Crosby Studios to create its new flagship store at Vie Show Xinyi in Taipei. Silver-gray tones, curved walls, and circular openings throughout the space allow the products to blend quietly into the architecture, transforming a traditional retail space into an immersive art installation to explore freely.

Crosby Studios’ first project for a Taiwanese brand

Crosby Studios, which has worked with international brands including Balenciaga, Gucci, and Delvaux and recently designed the NikeSKIMS pop-up space in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, is collaborating with a Taiwanese brand for the first time. Founder Harry Nuriev personally designed the KlassiC. Xinyi flagship store. Officially unveiled at Vie Show Xinyi, the space is anchored in silver-gray and white, with large floor-to-ceiling windows extending the interior directly onto the street. Amid the bustling Xinyi shopping district, its cool, pared-back design creates a quiet corner with a futuristic feel.
The store’s most eye-catching feature is a curved wall that extends to the ceiling. Circular openings in varying sizes run across its surface, with light passing through them to create shifting patterns of light and shadow in the silver-white space. At first glance, it resembles a large architectural installation; only up close do you discover that pairs of glasses are hidden within the wall.
Harry Nuriev wanted visitors to enter the store without immediately noticing where the products are. When the architecture itself becomes the display, choosing glasses shifts from a simple shopping process into an exploration of form, light, and personal style. Circular openings, curves, and mirrored reflections create the store’s visual language, forging a new relationship of viewing among people, eyewear, and space. Every approach, turn, and try-on becomes part of the installation.
From a Paris art exhibition to a Taipei flagship store

This collaboration began with an art exhibition held by Crosby Studios and KlassiC. in Paris. At its center was a giant installation wall made up of nearly 1,000 pairs of glasses, inspired by the casual, intuitive way street markets display their goods. Once glasses are removed from their original function as products, the outlines, colors, and reflections of the frames create a new visual rhythm across the wall. It also echoes Crosby Studios’ “Transformism” concept: through design, familiar everyday objects can take on another way of existing.
This attention to everyday details also echoes KlassiC.’s brand philosophy. Glasses don’t just change how we see the world; they can also redefine a person’s outline and style. From the Paris art installation to a physical space in Taipei, the two have transformed a cross-border creative collaboration into an everyday experience anyone can step into.

The KlassiC. Xinyi flagship store officially opened on July 30. At the opening party, Huang Hao-ting of Sunset Rollercoaster, aka SAX MACHINE, performed live, revealing another sensory dimension of the space through music, light, and design. The next time you’re in Xinyi, don’t just try on glasses. Slow down and take in the details hidden within the openings in the walls. This is both a store and an urban installation inviting people to look anew at everyday life and their own style.
