For its first collaboration with Japanese select shop BEAMS, HOKA has given the classic Bondi 7 a camouflage pattern inspired by Japanese Zen gardens. Understated white and grounded brown lend the performance running shoe a quiet yet hard-to-miss sense of style.

To celebrate BEAMS’ 50th anniversary, the brand invited HOKA to collaborate for the first time. Built on the Bondi 7, a signature style known for its thick cushioning, the new “Bondi 7 BEAMS” combines a high-performance running shoe with BEAMS’ flair for storytelling and fashion.
Rather than drawing attention with bold colors, the design looks to nature and the marks left by time. Inspired by the layered terrain of Japanese karesansui dry gardens, the interplay of light and shadow among stone gardens, and the grain that develops in the wood of ancient temples over time, it introduces two original camouflage patterns under the theme of “living in harmony with nature.”

The white version features soft layers reminiscent of gravel and wood grain, while the brown version has a deeper, more understated feel. Both retain the Bondi 7’s signature chunky sole. The camouflage pattern also subtly incorporates the BEAMS and HOKA names: clean and simple from afar, with thoughtful details revealed up close.
While retaining HOKA’s cushioning performance and comfortable feel, BEAMS gives this familiar running shoe a stronger lifestyle edge. Pair it with loose-fitting pants, workwear pieces, or a simple shirt outfit for an understated addition that still enhances your look. The “Bondi 7 BEAMS” comes in White and Brown, in sizes US 5 through US 11, and is priced at NT$ 6,280. It will arrive at BEAMS stores across Taiwan and the official online store on August 14, 2026.
