The East-West bag craze isn’t over yet: Jacquemus’ new Long Turismo is low-key but love at first sight

The East-West bag trend is continuing into fall and winter, and Jacquemus has given its popular Le Turismo line a longer, slimmer silhouette. The new Long Turismo retains the collection’s signature elegant feel while stretching the classic bowling bag’s rounded body into a horizontal shape. With its understated, streamlined look, it could be the next everyday bag fashion lovers quietly add to their wish lists.

The classic Le Turismo takes on a longer, slimmer silhouette
Le Turismo first drew attention for its rounded bowling bag shape, then went on to launch mini sizes, a roomy everyday version, and crocodile-embossed suede styles. Rather than pursuing an overly exaggerated long, narrow proportion, the new Long Turismo uses a softly horizontal body, curved corners, and a flap design for a lighter East-West silhouette that stands the test of time.
Structured piping defines the bag’s shape, paired with Jacquemus’ signature knotted handle and embossed logo. The magnetic flap closure and leather loops at the sides also add detail to its clean exterior. It retains the Turismo line’s recognizable character while projecting a sharper, more mature feel.
Good-looking, with practical capacity too
The Long Turismo measures approximately 33 × 18.5 × 11.5 cm and features a cotton lining, a zip pocket, and a slip pocket. It fits a phone, wallet, keys, earbuds, sunglasses, and even a small water bottle, making it practical for daily commutes or weekend outings. The new style is currently available in dark brown and pale yellow grained leather, as well as khaki suede calfskin, priced at US$1,570 (approximately NT$47,000; actual prices vary by region). The subdued, retro-inspired dark brown in particular is enough to get you looking forward to styling it with fall and winter coats and knits.
