Netflix’s full May lineup: The WONDERfools, My Royal Nemesis, Soul Mate, The Boys’ House, The Boroughs...

With May arriving, Netflix is rolling out a diverse slate of new titles. Among the most anticipated are the action comedy “Supernormal,” starring Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo; the fantasy romance “My Royal Rival,” featuring Lim Ji-yeon and Huh Nam-jun; the Japan-Korea BL drama “Soulmate,” starring 2PM’s Ok Taec-yeon and Isomura Hayato; and the buzzy Taiwanese drama “The Boys’ House,” with a cast that includes Marcus Chang, Wu Si-hsian, Kent Tsai, and Serena Fang. Each has already sparked plenty of discussion.

Also on the way is “The Boroughs,” a sci-fi series with a dark, suspenseful edge produced by the Duffer Brothers, the creators of “Stranger Things.” Fans of that kind of atmosphere may want to keep an eye on it. Those who watched “Money Heist,” meanwhile, can look out for the spinoff sequel “Berlin: The Girl with the Mink,” which continues the storyline in the same character universe.

On the animation front, “The Imaginary Friends Adventure,” a new title from the director of “Tangled,” explores friendship and growing up with a light, humorous touch. “Horny No Secrets,” meanwhile, is an absurd adult comedy with dark humor set in an animal world filled with instinct and desire. Its bold, witty style adds plenty of surprises and room for imagination to this month’s lineup.
