The story begins with the seemingly perfect imperial family of the Eastern Empire. Shin Min-a plays Navier, an intelligent and elegant empress, while Joo Ji-hoon takes on the role of Emperor Sovieshu. However, the arrival of Rasta, a runaway slave played by Lee Se-young, gradually drives a wedge between them and throws the once-peaceful royal court into a storm of love and power.

Meanwhile, Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom, played by Lee Jong-suk, makes his official debut as an important figure who changes Navier’s fate. Instead, she calmly accepts and immediately asks him to approve her own “remarriage.” This brief scene alone brings the dramatic tension to its peak.
