Saved hundreds of spots on IG but always lose your way before you leave? This app helps you reorganize your travel inspo in a lighter, easier way!

Do you have this problem too? Every time you scroll through IG or TikTok and spot a beautiful destination, a hidden food find, or a place a friend has checked in at, you can’t help saving it first. But when it’s finally time to travel and you’re looking through your saved places to figure out where to go, the list is a mess, and you can’t make sense of it no matter how long you search. I recently came across a new app that seems like it could really help solve this problem.

Yaay Travel is an intuitive travel app. You can share Reels or posts you see on social media directly to the app, which uses AI to automatically identify locations and organize the information. It can even recommend nearby places to visit and itinerary routes.

Its layout combines Google Maps with Instagram’s pinning and saving features. It lets you view all your saved places on a map at once and share travel lists with friends. The original posts are also organized by source, making it much easier to revisit recommendations from bloggers or creators later.

How to use it:

• STEP 1: While scrolling through social media, find a post or Reel you want to save and tap “Share” (the paper airplane icon) in the bottom right corner.
• STEP 2: Select “Share To.”
• STEP 3: Tap “More,” then choose Yaay.
• STEP 4 (optional): The first time you use it, you can add the app to your Favorites so it will appear in the first row. Tap “Edit” in the top right corner, turn on Yaay, then tap the “+” on the left.
• STEP 5: Ta-da! Your saved post will appear in the app. You can also create categories under Boards, making them easier to find later.

It seems quite convenient, but after downloading and testing it, I found a few minor drawbacks. Since it’s still a fairly new app, the interface is entirely in English, and its AI recognition in Taiwan still needs improvement (some landmarks are identified correctly while others aren’t, and they can’t be edited manually; it may be more accurate in Europe and the U.S.).

Still, as someone who used to manually save every place recommended on social media to Google Maps, I found this integrated design can significantly cut down on organizing time and solve the problem of not being able to remember why I saved a place in the first place. With continued improvements, it may have a real chance of becoming a travel tool popular with users in Asia.
