With every new supercar model, the Technic series pushes the possibilities of brick engineering. Created with Koenigsegg, the Sadair’s Spear (42232) has 4,104 pieces, making it the highest piece-count set in the series. More than building a model, it feels like assembling a real supercar

Built at a 1:8 scale, the car measures about 59 cm long and 28 cm wide. From its proportions to its body lines, it faithfully recreates the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear’s design. Even more captivating is the engineering hidden within the body. The model features a working V8 piston engine, 9-speed gearbox, front and rear Triplex suspension systems, and LEGO’s first gear-position display mechanism, allowing builders to understand how a real supercar works as they assemble it.

Ghost Mode makes its debut, bringing the brand’s signature features to brick form

Beyond its mechanical structure, this LEGO Technic set is also the first to feature a working Ghost Mode. Using a specially designed mechanism, it can simultaneously open Koenigsegg’s signature doors, front trunk lid, and rear engine cover. The model is more than a static display piece: it fully presents the brand’s most recognizable design features and once again demonstrates LEGO’s ability to turn complex engineering into brick-built structures.

To celebrate the launch, LEGO also built a full-size, 1:1 Koenigsegg brick car using more than 320,000 LEGO bricks. It reached 111 km/h at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, setting a new top-speed record for a drivable LEGO vehicle.
