Summary

  • SKIMS and Los Angeles café Community Goods are opening a four-day pop-up in New York’s SoHo, running from September 10 to 13.
  • The pop-up only operates from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, bringing Community Goods’ “Morning Café” rhythm straight into SKIMS’ fashion event.
  • On site, there will be limited-edition collaboration merchandise and Signature Sips. As the full drink menu for the pop-up has not been officially released, please avoid adding any unconfirmed items on your own.

At most fashion pop-ups, lines don’t start forming until noon. This time, SKIMS wants you there at 7 a.m. for coffee first.

Starting September 10, SKIMS and popular Los Angeles coffee shop Community Goods are bringing their collaboration to New York’s SoHo, opening a four-day pop-up at 39 Wooster Street.

Interestingly, it doesn’t follow the usual fashion pop-up schedule: It opens at 7 a.m. each day and closes at 2 p.m., adopting the rhythm of a morning cafe.

Community Goods is already a distinctive neighborhood cafe in Los Angeles, with locations in Beverly Grove and West Hollywood.

Its signature offerings include the Einspänner Latte, Vic’s Cafe con Leche, and Espresso Tonic, along with matcha and hojicha from Fukuoka and Uji, Japan.

For this New York collaboration, SKIMS has confirmed that “Signature Sips” will be available, though the full limited-time menu has yet to be announced. For exactly which drinks will be offered, check the menu on the day.

The two brands have already shared coffee once this year

This isn’t the first collaboration between SKIMS and Community Goods.

Earlier this year, for the anniversary of the SKIMS Sunset Boulevard Flagship, the two brands launched a limited-edition Caramel Latte in Los Angeles, turning the fashion brand’s anniversary event into a morning coffee run.

In September, the collaboration moves from LA to New York. Rather than offering a one-off “branded coffee,” this time they’re bringing Community Goods’ drinks, visuals, and sense of community to SoHo.

Only four days, and the merch is sold exclusively on-site

Along with drinks, the pop-up is also releasing Community Goods × SKIMS exclusive merch.

Current on-site information indicates that the limited collection includes co-branded apparel and totes, and will be available in person only. It won’t be sold on SKIMS.com or the Community Goods online store. Purchases are limited to 5 items per person and 2 of each style, and all sales are final.

The Community Goods × SKIMS NYC Pop-Up runs through September 13 at 39 Wooster St, New York. If you’re planning to go, you’ll really need to get up early, since this fashion pop-up closes at 2 p.m.
