Global results are all growing against the trend: Hermès 2025 full-year financial report is out, naming these 3 dark horse bags
Now you know which bag to buy next 🤭
The global luxury industry has been sluggish for some time, yet some brands have continued to grow despite the downturn, including Hermès. Its figures have risen steadily over the past three years, and its newly released full-year 2025 financial report is no exception. Consolidated revenue totaled EU€16 billion, while recurring operating profit rose 7% to EU€6.6 billion. Net profit climbed 5.5% to EU€4.5 billion. Hermès also recorded sales growth worldwide, across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.
The leather goods and saddlery division was a major contributor to these strong results. Hermès continues to expand its production capacity by building new leather workshops: alongside its 24th workshop, which opened in September, new sites are planned for 2026, 2027, and 2028. New bags and leather goods have also proven appealing, with the report singling out So Médor, Seau Mousqueton, and Haut à Courroies à relier as breakout bag styles.
Next came the other business segment, which includes jewelry and home collections, with 11% annual growth. It was followed by ready-to-wear and accessories, up 6%, and silk and textiles, up 5%. The watch division, down 2%, and fragrance and beauty, down 8%, faced greater challenges: the former was affected by momentum from the first half of the year, while the latter was up against a high comparison base from the previous year. Still, the classic eau de toilette and fragrance lines, along with the new Rouge Brillant Silky lipstick from the beauty collection, generated discussion.
With these strong results, Hermès announced that, in addition to individual salary adjustments, all employees in France will receive an extra EU€120 in monthly pay, while every employee worldwide will receive an annual bonus of EU€3,000. Its headcount totaled 26,494 as of the end of 2025. The company will also propose a dividend of EU€18 per share at its April shareholders’ meeting. Those interested can view the full financial report on the brand’s official website.
