Emerging brand 038, which has officially spun off from coyseio and now operates independently, has unveiled its first collection since going independent for Fall/Winter 2026, “038, 2026 FALL COLLECTION.” The brand invited model and actor Kiko Mizuhara to star in its new campaign, set in a place we know all too well: an elevator. Phone in hand, Kiko takes elevator selfies, and every look feels like a guidebook for everyday dressing.

An elevator guidebook for outfit inspiration
In this campaign, Kiko wears several looks in the elevator, offering plenty of styling inspiration. Rather than the cool detachment of a traditional fashion campaign, 038 has chosen a relatable selfie setting that makes it easier for readers to imagine themselves in the looks. In one outfit, for example, Kiko layers a beige T-shirt over a gray long-sleeve top with a gray skirt and green handbag, creating a layered street-style look. In another, she pairs a green top with jeans for a simple, laid-back feel. She also wears a loose pink knit sweater with capri pants. Every look is easy to recreate.
Reworking irreplaceable basics
038’s core theme is “IRREPLACEABLE BASIC,” with three design concepts branching from it: “REBIRTH,” “BREAKING THE RULES,” and “NEW PATH.” With its first collection since becoming independent, the brand seeks to reshape the fashion silhouette of classic basics through distinctive cuts and a keen color sensibility. Kiko’s varied poses and outfits in the elevator campaign also reflect this spirit of breaking conventions and finding new paths.
