When you see a work you love at a museum, can you only take home a postcard or poster? This time, Monet’s “Water Lilies” can even appear right on your dining table. To celebrate the Musée d’Orsay’s 40th anniversary, French lifestyle brand Monoprix has teamed up with the museum for a new collaboration that brings classic Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works from its collection into everyday life. From clothing and sleepwear to tableware and home goods, the collection lets art live beyond museum walls.
Rather than simply printing famous paintings on clothing, it lets you wear the colors from the artworks

What makes this collaboration so appealing is that it doesn’t simply reproduce entire famous paintings on its products. Instead, it draws inspiration from the colors, brushstrokes, and details in each work, translating them into designs made for everyday use. The collection also reinterprets the language of late-19th-century dress, from feminine silhouettes and structured sleeves to tailored cuts, in a more contemporary way. At first glance, you may not realize the pieces draw on paintings from more than a century ago, yet a closer look reveals artistic references everywhere.

Across nearly 50 pieces, the collection reimagines works by artists including Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, and Paul Signac. The water lilies, pond, and soft blue-green tones in Monet’s “Bassin aux nymphéas, harmonie verte,” for example, are brought into the tableware designs. “Cueillette,” by female artist Anna Boch, becomes sleepwear filled with tiny floral colors, while even the flowers in Manet’s paintings are transformed into clothing you can wear. It really makes you want to take the entire Musée d’Orsay home with you.

Alongside the familiar masters, this collaboration also turns its attention to women artists whose work has received less attention in the past, including Berthe Morisot, Eva Gonzalès, and Anna Boch. The collection includes nearly 50 items and will officially launch on September 23, 2026, at select Monoprix stores, on the Monoprix website, and at the Musée d’Orsay shop. If you’re planning a trip to Paris soon, set aside a day to visit the Musée d’Orsay and see the famous paintings, then don’t forget to stop by and browse the collaboration too. You may just end up taking a little piece of the “Musée d’Orsay” home.
