“Reverse aging” isn’t enough? Dior puts longevity science into one jar of cream, and this rose has been studied for 15 years!
One jar of cream costs NT$16,200!
When it came to high-end anti-aging skincare, firming, plumping, and smoothing fine lines were once the most familiar keywords. In recent years, though, the beauty industry has started looking further ahead, and longevity science has quietly become a new direction in luxury skincare. Rather than simply addressing visible signs of aging, the focus has shifted to addressing skin aging at its root and prolonging a healthy, balanced, youthful state. Dior Prestige’s new Dior Prestige Le Baume de Minuit Rose Peptide Cream was born from this mindset. Centered on the iconic Granville rose and informed by longevity science, it reconsiders what a luxury cream can do for the skin.

A rose studied for 15 years, with not even the stem going to waste this time
The Granville rose, a variety cultivated specifically for skincare research, has long been at the heart of Dior Prestige. The most noteworthy update this time is the new Tri-Active Rose Peptide Complex™, which adds rose stems for the first time to its existing rose petal and fruit extracts, along with peptides that target firmness and wrinkles.
Rather than treating the rose simply as an ingredient that symbolizes luxury, this new generation of Dior Prestige approaches the entire plant as a subject of detailed research: different parts are paired with different extraction methods, then combined with new penetration technology to make skincare more targeted. According to the brand, the concentration of active ingredients in the new formula is three times that of its predecessor, making this the cream’s most significant upgrade.
What really makes you want to try it is the moment you apply it
For a cream priced at NT$ 16,200, the data matters, of course, yet texture is often what determines whether you’ll want to open it every day. Dior has introduced its Micro-Filler Technology™, which uses thermal crystallization to form two crystal structures from rose wax: one creates a velvety-smooth film, while the other forms a supportive micro-mesh. Put simply, it aims to replace the often-heavy feel of luxury creams with an experience that is more refined, close-fitting, and enveloping.
This time, it also comes in two textures: a regular version with a fresh, satin-smooth feel, and a rich version with more pronounced nourishment and an enveloping feel. Even the fragrance has been redesigned, moving from fresh rose petals and soft powdery notes to a musky drydown, making skincare itself feel more like a complete sensory ritual.
“Reverse 10 years of skin age” is eye-catching, but the beauty trend behind it is even more worth watching
The brand’s most striking claims this time are “reverse 10 years of skin age” and “reduce wrinkles by 20%.” The two claims come from different tests: the former is based on ex vivo testing of the Tri-Active Granville Rose Peptide Complex, while the latter comes from a clinical evaluation of 30 women after using the cream continuously for two months. It is therefore more appropriate to view them as results of the brand’s research than as a guarantee of results for everyone.
More interesting than the numbers is that competition in luxury skincare has quietly moved to a different arena. Rather than simply pursuing a younger-looking appearance, the focus has shifted to studying skin-aging pathways, repair capacity, and long-term condition. Longevity is gradually becoming the new language of luxury skincare. The new Dior Prestige Le Baume de Minuit Rose Peptide Cream launched on September 1, 2026, and is priced at NT$ 16,200 for 50 ml and NT$ 13,750 for the refill.
