The Ordinary is now easier to buy: from trying it in-store to ordering online, launching in October
No more waiting for overseas shipping!
Known for its minimalist packaging, transparent ingredient concentrations, and affordable prices that helped spark the “ingredient-focused” skincare trend, The Ordinary is about to become easier to buy in Taiwan. As it continues to expand across the Asia-Pacific market, the brand has announced a further expansion of its local retail network in Taiwan. Starting October 1, 2026, consumers will be able to order through new online partners or shop at Cosmed stores, giving fans who once had to wait for cross-border shipping a more convenient way to restock as part of their everyday shopping.

Available at Cosmed starting in October, with Shopee and momo joining at the same time
The Ordinary’s newly added sales channels in Taiwan include Cosmed stores, Shopee Taiwan, and the momo Shopping website, making it easy to shop in person or restock online. For those new to the brand, physical retail can make unfamiliar ingredient names feel less intimidating. Longtime users familiar with the formulas, meanwhile, can directly purchase the products they need to replenish through e-commerce. The Ordinary has not yet announced the full product lineup or designated store locations; actual availability will be subject to announcements from each retailer.
Ingredient names printed directly on the bottle
Since its founding in 2016, The Ordinary has made formulas and ingredients central to its messaging. Its packaging lists the main ingredients and their concentrations directly, dispensing with elaborate names and complicated narratives so consumers can understand what’s in the bottle based on their own skin concerns. This transparent, straightforward approach has also helped drive the popularity of single-ingredient skincare products in recent years. Names such as niacinamide, AHAs, lactic acid, and peptides, once more commonly found in professional discussions, have gradually become familiar keywords among skincare consumers. Through its “Everything is Chemicals” campaign, the brand also hopes to address people’s concerns about chemical terminology and encourage consumers to understand ingredients rather than relying solely on vague marketing claims when choosing products.
Even simple formulas require an understanding of your own skin
The appeal of single-ingredient formulas lies in being able to choose products based on your individual needs and incorporate them flexibly into your existing skincare routine. The Ordinary develops and manufactures its formulas in its own labs, continuing to expand its product selection while keeping prices reasonable. Still, the clearer the ingredient labeling, the more important it is to pay attention to how products are used. Different active ingredients may not be suitable for layering in the same routine, and higher concentrations aren’t necessarily better suited to every skin type. If you’re trying acids, retinol, or similar formulas for the first time, it’s still recommended that you start with less frequent use, patch-test first, and adjust based on your skin’s tolerance.
Starting October 1, The Ordinary will be available at Cosmed, Shopee Taiwan, and the momo Shopping website. For fans who have long awaited more comprehensive local availability, the biggest change may be a simple one: those familiar little white bottles can finally be added to their everyday shopping lists more conveniently.
