Definitely not your average brush: no messy hands, no rinsing... Japanese brand ReFa launches an at-home deep hair treatment device!
The official site even highlights that you can feel the difference after just one use!
Hair is like a second face, and we put a lot of care into it every day. Beyond salon visits, there are now plenty of beauty-tech products to help, including for hair care. Japanese high-end beauty-tech brand ReFa has generated plenty of buzz in recent years with its facial massagers, hair dryers, and showerheads. Its latest product is no exception: the ReFa TREATMENT IRON, which lets you treat your hair while brushing it.

ReFa has previously released a range of flat irons and brushes, yet this is its first “hair treatment straightening brush.” Rather than being geared toward styling, the TREATMENT IRON is a new tool for hair care. Its needle-like structure and heat-sensing delivery system use ultrasound to work the dedicated treatment serum deep into the hair as you brush, nourishing each strand and locking in nutrients. There’s no need to get your hands covered in greasy hair products or deal with the hassle of rinsing them out in the bathroom: you can easily complete your hair-care routine instead.
ReFa says the device helps tame frizz and flyaways, leaving hair smoother and shinier, with results you can feel after just one use. It can be set to 120°C, 140°C, 160°C, 180°C, or 200°C. The product will officially go on sale April 15 for JP¥35,200, while the accompanying TREATMENT SERUM costs JP¥3,300. If you’re interested, keep an eye out for it.
