Every time I see a Chloé perfume bottle, I can’t help taking a second look. The brand’s classic women’s fragrance line has welcomed a new member, Le Nectar. What caught my eye first was its warm amber hue, along with the delicate apricot-gold ribbon tied around its neck. Its gorgeous vintage look alone makes you want to put it straight on your vanity.

A warm, nectar-like floral scent
If you tend to prefer warm, bright florals, this may become your new favorite. Perfumer Romain Almairac drew inspiration from the free spirit of the 1970s. When you first spray it on, you’ll notice fresh bergamot, followed by a rich, captivating heart where orange blossom essential oil, orange blossom absolute, and rose absolute intertwine, creating a clear, gentle sweetness reminiscent of floral nectar.
Over time, the drydown that lingers on the skin becomes richer and fuller. Tonka bean absolute and patchouli essence, paired with base notes such as sandalwood and cashmere wood, give the fragrance a smooth, mellow feel. Familiar and comforting, it’s well suited to the gradually cooling weather ahead.
