Wearing shirts as dresses and sweaters backward, MM6 Maison Margiela filled its Spring/Summer 2027 Milan Fashion Week show with playful deconstructed details. Yet as the models took to the runway, the familiar yet slightly different Havaianas flip-flops on their feet caught everyone’s attention first.

Toe-shaped, with an extra-thick sole

For this collaboration, MM6 Maison Margiela didn’t just put a logo on the straps. The brand created two new styles especially for the show: the “Slim 6Toe,” with a toe-shaped front, and the “Top 6Layers,” with an extra-high stacked sole.

Both pairs retain Havaianas’ classic flip-flop silhouette while subtly incorporating MM6’s signature number “6” into the design. They turn everyday flip-flops into runway footwear, and paired with the asymmetrically cut Spring/Summer looks, they work really well visually.
