Mickey Mouse Becomes Stylish Furniture: Gustaf Westman Joins Forces with Disney for an Adorable Dream Collaboration!
Mickey fans are about to lose their minds!
If you love filling your home with cute decor, this new collaboration might just inspire a full room makeover. Swedish designer Gustaf Westman—known for winning over design lovers with his rounded lines, candy-colored palette, and playful furniture—has joined forces with Disney to bring Mickey and friends into his design world. From cups with Mickey ears to a sofa that looks like an art sculpture, every piece catches the eye, showing how classic cartoon characters can double as chic home decor.
When Mickey meets Gustaf Westman, the rounded designs are irresistibly cute
Anyone familiar with Gustaf Westman’s work knows his rounded, fairytale-like furniture. For this collection, he fuses his signature chunky silhouettes, bright color palettes, and playful proportions with Mickey’s iconic shape, creating home pieces that are as practical as they are collectible.
One standout piece is the Mickey Tumbler, inspired by his classic Chunky Tumbler. Featuring a red body with yellow details and two round black Mickey ears on the lid, it sits on your desk like a mini sculpture. Meanwhile, the black ceramic Mickey Mouse Cup adds a clever touch with its Mickey-shaped saucer, keeping the designer’s signature minimalist playfulness while giving a familiar character a mature, whimsical charm.

Beyond glassware, the collection’s biggest surprise is the Mickey Mouse Sofa. Instead of printing cartoon graphics on a standard couch, Gustaf Westman reinterprets Mickey through form itself, wrapping a chunky, rounded silhouette in black leather to create a piece that is equal parts functional furniture and design art.
The collaboration drew inspiration from the designer’s visit to Disneyland Paris. Taking cues from the vivid colors, silhouettes, and iconic details of Mickey and friends, he translated childhood memories into objects suited for modern home decor. You don’t need to fill your room with Disney collectibles; a single piece from this collaboration brings humor and personality to any corner. The campaign was shot at Disneyland Paris and styled by Harry Lambert, connecting Disney’s fantasy world with Gustaf Westman’s design aesthetic through playful visuals.
