Hong Kong now has its own Jellycat themed store! Jellycat Yacht Club opens in May
Calling all nautical lovers — this time Jellycat is joining you for a trip around Victoria Harbour!
Everyone knows Jellycat’s charm is impossible to resist, but this time it may be even more irresistible. Rather than opening a café or selling ice cream, everyone’s favorite Jellycat is opening a “yacht club” in Hong Kong. The visuals alone for the Jellycat Yacht Club themed store make you want to hand over your wallet. That little bunny in a captain’s hat, complete with a life ring, is simply too cute.

When will the Jellycat Yacht Club themed store open in Hong Kong?
The date everyone is most eager to know is May 8, 2026. Jellycat is partnering with Lane Crawford for this launch, with the store located at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, making it easy to get to. This won’t be just a retail space: it will be decorated in a resort-inspired yacht club style and is likely to become one of May’s most popular photo spots. It’s best to line up early on the morning of May 8, since themed plushies like these usually sell out in the first few days, based on past experience.

Which exclusive limited-edition designs are worth getting this time?
Based on the official teaser images released so far, the most eye-catching piece is undoubtedly the Bashful Bunny, dressed in a navy “Captain” sweater and a proper captain’s hat. There’s also a retro little bear wearing a classic white knit scarf, along with an irresistibly cute “life ring” character. These designs were created especially to celebrate Jellycat Yacht Club and usually feature unique embroidery or accessories, making them hidden gems you can’t find on the official website or at other stores.
Where is the Jellycat Yacht Club themed store in Hong Kong?
The themed store is located inside Lane Crawford at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui. If you’re walking from the Star Ferry Pier, enter Harbour City and head to Lane Crawford’s home and lifestyle department. Along with plushies, the store is expected to offer exclusive packaging services, such as limited-edition colored dust bags and specially designed hang tags, making each plush even more collectible.
About how much will Jellycat Yacht Club pieces cost?
Official prices won’t be revealed until opening day, but based on previous limited-edition Jellycat collections carried by Lane Crawford, regular-sized charms cost around HK$ 250, medium plushies range from HK$ 400 to HK$ 650, and large or special collaboration pieces may cost more than HK$ 800. This nautical collection may be priced slightly higher than the basic styles because of its detailed accessories, including clothing and hats. Still, given that this yacht club theme is making its Hong Kong debut, that exclusivity is well worth paying for.
Honestly, Jellycat releases plenty of new designs every year, but themed-store collections with such a strong connection to a city tend to hold their value best. The London fish and chips and New York burger shop collections previously sent fans around the world into a buying frenzy. This time, Hong Kong has chosen the Yacht Club theme, which perfectly suits the feel of Victoria Harbour. The plushies are dressed with great attention to detail, and the British-inspired, upscale color palette also pairs beautifully with home décor!
