The collaboration includes three styles. The most classic is the “Pokémon Special Edition,” based on the third-generation Polaroid Now. Its body features the familiar red, white, and black colors of a Poké Ball for a distinctly retro look.
The other two are based on the compact, portable third-generation Polaroid Go and draw inspiration from two popular characters. The “Pikachu Edition” comes in its signature bright yellow and includes an exclusive charm shaped like its lightning-bolt tail. The especially irresistible “Sylveon Edition” centers on dreamy pink and white, paired with an exclusive pink, white, and blue color-blocked strap that perfectly recreates the character’s soft feel.

If you use i-Type film, the “Pokémon Special Edition” film is sure to surprise you. Its borders feature classic characters including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gengar, Umbreon, and Mimikyu. Even the film’s black protective card (Darkslide) is printed with hidden Pokémon silhouettes, and once the photo has ejected, you can keep it as a collectible card.

Preorders for the series will open first on August 25 through Polaroid’s official website and Pokémon Center in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
