An Adventure in Beauty: Louis Vuitton Unveils Its First La Beauté Makeup Lab Salon in Taiwan
Bringing makeup, style, and everyday life together in a brand-new Taipei space
Louis Vuitton’s first La Beauté makeup experimental salon in Taiwan is officially opening on the second floor of its Breeze Xinyi boutique in Taipei and will be open to the public starting April 2. Building on the brand’s spirit of travel, creative vision, and exceptional craftsmanship, the new space takes the form of a pioneering laboratory that brings together makeup, experiences, and lifestyle for a new exploration of beauty.
Inspired by LV Rouge lipstick shade 854 Louis Red, the La Beauté makeup experimental salon is an immersive space steeped in the brand’s identity. From its visual language to its interactive design, makeup becomes more than a product itself; it becomes a style experience. The space is divided into three themed areas: the Hall of Makeup, showcasing the new makeup collection; the Fantasy Makeup Experience Zone, where technology enables virtual makeup try-ons; and Artistry in Hands, where on-site makeup artists provide personalized advice. From swatching and trying on makeup to style recommendations, every part of the experience feels more complete.
Another highlight is the Lipstick Trunk, an exclusive lipstick storage trunk. Crafted from classic Monogram coated canvas, with a mirror and a multilayer drawer design, it is not only practical but also a dream piece with a sense of craftsmanship and collectible value.
The popular shades are also worth watching. This launch spotlights several favorites, including LV Rouge lipsticks in dried rose, pale lilac lotus-root pink rose, and orange-red cinnamon, each with its own character. LV Baume lip balms come in clear shine, rosewood, and soft pink tones for more everyday makeup options. The eyeshadow palettes range from sunrise gold and earthy beige-brown to layered pink-gold hues, creating different style expressions.
