In recent years, hybrid sneakers have become a major trend, from loafer-sneaker hybrids by New Balance and Converse to ballet sneaker styles that have become hugely popular among women. Sneakerinas can be found everywhere, from affordable brands like GU to niche labels and designer houses. This time, we spotted a heart-eyed-worthy ballet sneaker in Louis Vuitton’s new arrivals: the LV Sneakerina Mary Jane!

Louis Vuitton introduced the LV Sneakerina last spring, featuring a slim, low-profile silhouette, LV lettering along the side, and the classic Monogram pattern at its center. Since then, it has been released in a range of materials and colorways. This newly launched LV Sneakerina is the first to incorporate a Mary Jane design. Retaining its original look, it replaces the laces with a cutout across the instep and fastens easily with a Velcro strap, making this ballet sneaker feel even more girly.

A closer look reveals that Louis Vuitton has used not only calf suede, but also lustrous satin, which cleverly softens the elegant style of a ballet flat. The LV Sneakerina Mary Jane ballet sneaker is currently available in four colorways: pink, beige, and black and white versions featuring the Monogram pattern. Priced at NT$ 37,400 / HK$ 9,050, it’s one to keep an eye on if you’re interested.
