Suzy is already carrying it: CELINE Fall/Winter 2026’s new Flair Bag gives the Triomphe a chicer twist
You can tell it’s CELINE at a glance, but you don’t see it everywhere!
Whenever CELINE releases a new bag, you can’t help wondering: Could it be the next It bag? The answer may already be quietly emerging for Fall/Winter 2026. The brand has introduced the new Flair Bag, which has the retro feel of a doctor bag at first glance, yet softer curves, an envelope-style flap, and a redesigned Triomphe clasp give its classic elements a fresh feel. CELINE global brand ambassador Suzy has already been spotted carrying it, drawing plenty of attention before the bag has even fully launched.
CELINE has turned the Triomphe into a turn-lock clasp!
The familiar Triomphe is still here, though it appears in a completely different way this time. The Flair Bag pairs a horizontal shape with an envelope-style flap, balancing structure with soft curves. Delicate Bombé curves on the handle and shoulder strap add further detail. It may look simple, but a closer look reveals thoughtful design touches throughout.
The most eye-catching detail is naturally the redesigned Triomphe Turn-Lock clasp at the center. A gentle twist opens the bag, and when you lift the flap, another Triomphe is hidden beneath it, allowing the two emblems to appear together. Rather than enlarging the logo endlessly, it creates recognition through its construction, making an even stronger impression.
Available in small and large sizes, with Ultra Red as an especially tempting option
The Flair Bag currently comes in two sizes. The small size can be carried by hand, over the shoulder, or crossbody, while the larger version can even be carried as an Oversized Clutch. Both feature double zippers, an interior zip pocket, a slip pocket, and a detachable shoulder strap. They’re beautiful without sacrificing everyday practicality.
The material and color options are equally appealing. Glossy calfskin comes in Black, Chestnut, Purple, and the particularly striking Ultra Red; XL grained calfskin is available in black and cream. There’s also a version in tan suede with glossy black lambskin. Black is a safe choice if you prefer something understated and classic. If you’re looking for a bag to add something extra to your fall and winter looks, though, the red and suede versions are harder to overlook.
Suzy is already carrying it, and it looks great with a simple black-and-white outfit
If you’re wondering how easy this new bag is to style, Suzy’s off-duty look may have the answer. She recently wore a simple black top and white denim jeans with the black Small Flair Bag. Rather than layering on statement pieces, she let the bag’s clean, slightly retro silhouette stand out. Whether carried by hand, worn on the arm, or styled with its long shoulder strap, it fits naturally into everyday outfits. Over the past few seasons, CELINE bags have gradually found a new balance between classic appeal and a relaxed feel, and the Flair Bag has both: it looks formal without feeling too rigid, and its noticeable Triomphe doesn’t feel overly logo-heavy.
If you already own a Triomphe or Luggage and are looking for a new bag that’s “clearly CELINE at a glance, yet not so commonly seen,” the Flair Bag is certainly one to keep in mind.
