Zombie Boy Rick Genest 自殺身亡

曾參演過 Lady Gaga《Born This Way》MV 的刺青男生「Zombie Boy」Rick Genest 證實於 8 月 2 日在蒙特利爾的公寓中自殺身亡，年僅 32 歲。Rick Genest 因滿身，包括臉部都紋滿刺青，以「Zombie Boy」之名成為著名的加拿大模特兒，其後因出演 Lady Gaga 的 MV 而一炮而紅，成為時尚 Icon。原本將於 8 月 7 日迎來 33 歲生日的他卻意外地選擇結束生命，Lady Gaga 在發文悼念 Rick Genest 時，指他的自殺讓人感到非常傷痛，更呼籲大家要正視精神健康的問題，希望能互相拯救，她的這番話道出了 Rick Genest 自殺的原因是因著情緒病的關係。

其實 Rick Genest 是一個非常勇敢的男生，他在 16 歲的時候紋上第一個紋身，而當時他正值面對著癌症，他在 15 歲時得知自己患上腦癌，面對死亡來襲的他就迷上了死亡的文化，而他就花了 5 年的時間把自己打造成充滿死亡氣息的骷髏人「Zombie Boy」，也因著年紀輕輕就患上癌症，讓身體康復的他得了精神上的創傷。

雖然 Rick Genest 選擇以這樣的方式離開我們，但相信大家都仍然會記起他的獨特性。正如 Lady Gaga 所言，如果身邊的朋友也患上不同的情緒病，請必定要向他們伸出援手，你絕對不會知道自己的一步對他們來說有多重要。
