第 91 屆奧斯卡金像獎頒獎典禮終於完滿結束，雖然今次是歷史以來第二次沒有主持的奧斯卡，而事前亦引起了不少負面評價，包括主辦單位威脅演員禁止參與其他頌獎典禮和把 4 個技術類獎項安排在廣告時段頒發，但正如 Anne Hathaway 於奧斯卡開始前所說，最糟的時刻已經過去，大家還是會「Happy Oscars！」。
今年競逐獎項的電影實力都相當高，特別是最佳男、女主角的寶座，戰況非常激烈，每一位候選者都各有支持者，而結果亦不負觀眾的預測，影帝由《Bohemian Rhapsody》（波希米亞狂想曲）的 Rami Malek 大熱勝出；而影后就由金球獎最佳戲劇類電影女主角 Olivia Colman 憑著《The Favourite》（爭寵）再下一城，擊敗大熱《The Wife》（仁妻）的 Glenn Close。

至於事前呼聲非常高的 Lady Gaga 雖然未能憑著處女作《A Star Is Born》（港：星夢情深 / 台：一個巨星的誕生）問鼎影后，但電影中的歌曲《Shallow》卻得到最佳原創歌曲，總算是不負眾望！最佳導演由金球獎最佳導演得主 Alfonso Cuarón 憑大熱電影《Roma》（羅馬）奪下，而最佳電影則同樣是由大熱《Green Book》（綠簿旅友）奪得。而今次奧斯卡的大贏家是奪得 4 個獎項的《Bohemian Rhapsody》，而 Marvel 的《Black Panter》則以 3 個獎項緊隨其後，絕對是創了超級英雄電影的歷史！
