Netflix‘s hit dating show “Bad Boys’ Love Story” had barely wrapped before a second season was swiftly confirmed. The hosts and cast recently reunited in person to catch up and revisit some of the show’s most iconic moments, quickly turning the interview into a public reckoning with their embarrassing pasts. Xiao Yi’s lighter makeup earns rave reviews

As everyone revisited the iconic “water-splashing incident,” the host first teased Baby: “Is it OK to make that face when the guys are around?” AMO then shared that she initially thought it was a prank-show setup and felt she was being played. Kozuka jokingly added, “I also want to thank AMO for splashing Baby with water. It gave us this drama and made me love Baby even more.” The comment had the whole room laughing again.

Wei Boss, who regrettably left the show early, was unable to attend the interview, though he wrote a letter especially for the cast:
“Dear friends, it’s been a long time. I’m writing this letter because meeting such a lovely group of people and being able to spend time together was incredibly precious to me. I’m truly sorry for causing you trouble. I’m not much of a planner, and I can be difficult to deal with…. In that environment, being able to live alongside all of you was truly a luxury. What still weighs on me is that I promised the kids I would go to the children’s cafeteria, yet I never made it there. As a man, I feel quite ashamed. You must have been happy, right? I was in shock for a long time afterward and couldn’t quickly shift my mood, so I poured this whole experience into my music. Turning pain and failure into work is a rapper’s basic craft. Thank you for helping me complete a piece of work. I’m a little clumsy, though it’s very much my style, right? That’s all for now. Wherever we may meet again, I wish you all success and happiness.”
Amid the emotional mood, the offbeat Tehana Ringo suddenly came through with the perfect response: “I was crying so hard, and he didn’t mention me at all? That’s too much! He could have written at least two lines about me…” The room instantly went from tears to laughter.
Are the two couples still in touch?
Many viewers have been wondering whether the two couples who matched on the show ever actually dated. Yet when host Nagano asked, “How do you feel about each other now?” the room fell into an awkward silence. Startled, he immediately jumped up and joked, “What does that mean? Huh? Am I going to get punched?!”
Kozuka finally replied matter-of-factly, “We’re just normal… nothing special.” Asked how often he and Baby meet while dating long-distance, he coolly added, “It’s really scattered. Baby tried to ease the tension, saying, “We’re on good terms and talk frequently every day.” Still, viewers noticed that the two do not follow each other on Instagram, leading many to speculate that they may not be especially close in private.
Turning to the other couple, Nise was even more direct: “We don’t really keep in touch anymore.” Amo gave an awkward laugh beside him, and his overly honest answer prompted the host to sigh, “We were clearly rooting for you, and our hopes were crushed in an instant… You might as well have told a lie.” Yet it is precisely their real personalities that make the show feel so authentic and entertaining.
