Care Bears visit Starbucks for the first time: they’re too cute in green aprons, and DREAM PLAZA even has 200 numbered limited-edition bears!

Just seeing this lineup of Care Bears in Starbucks green aprons makes it hard to resist the urge to collect them. To welcome fall, Starbucks is teaming up with the classic feel-good characters for the first time under the theme “Cheers for Sharing! Share Warmth, Spread Joy,” officially bringing the familiar bears into its stores as partners. The collection includes mugs, cold cups, and stainless steel tumblers, along with bag charms, tote bags, socks, and plush toys. There are even 200 numbered limited-edition bears available exclusively at DREAM PLAZA in Taipei.

Since debuting in 1981, Care Bears have charmed fans with characters that each have their own personality and mood. This time, Starbucks has dressed four characters – “Gentle Bear,” “Joyful Bear,” “Free-Spirited Bear,” and “Share Bear” – as Starbucks store partners. One is here to spread happiness, another reminds you to take a proper break, and another represents companionship and care, much like the different moods you bring when you walk into a coffee shop each day. The collaboration centers on warm brown, soft pink, cloud blue, and dreamy purple, pairing Care Bears’ soft, comforting cuteness with Starbucks’ signature green in a combination that feels surprisingly natural.

From mugs and color-changing cold cups to bag charms, it’ll be hard to buy just one thing this time.

The collection is also quite comprehensive. Four character mugs bring Care Bears into your daily coffee routine, while the cold cups feature a color-changing design that creates different visual effects when filled with iced drinks. The item most likely to tempt bag lovers, though, is the debut Care Bears green-apron bag charm. The miniature bears wear Starbucks green aprons and come in blind boxes, ready to hang from tote bags, backpacks, or everyday bags. The collaboration also includes stainless steel tumblers, tote bags, socks, and other everyday accessories, bringing the cuteness from the coffee table into your daily outfits.

This is the one to really race for! There are only 200 “Share Bear” plush toys at DREAM PLAZA.

If you only plan to pick up one collectible, the Care Bears “Share Bear” plush toy is the one to highlight. Joyful Bear and Share Bear have both changed into Starbucks’ classic green aprons, while the purple “Green Apron Share Bear” will be released in a first-launch limited edition at the Starbucks Reserve DREAM PLAZA store in Taipei. Globally? No – there are only 200 available on site, and each bear has its own limited-edition serial number printed on the bottom of its foot, making it all the more collectible.

The Care Bears × Starbucks collection will be available for Starbucks Rewards members to purchase early on September 7, followed by online sales at 12 p.m. Starting September 8, it will officially launch at Starbucks stores across Taiwan. As for those 200 limited Share Bears, if you want to bring one home, you’d better put DREAM PLAZA on your itinerary.
