Don’t let its transparent appearance fool you. Each Batch stool weighs roughly 30 kg, measures 43 × 43 × 43 cm, and is individually hand-blown in Italy using cast-iron molds. The glass deliberately retains the subtle deformations, air bubbles, and irregular marks from the crafting process, meaning no two Batch stools in the world are exactly alike.

Batch is available in 10 translucent colors. As light passes through the thick glass, the overlapping transparency, reflection, and refraction give the simple cube shifting expressions. Rather than just a stool, it feels more like a glass sculpture you can actually sit on.

Shot by photographer Delfino Sisto Legnani, this campaign brings Batch into Milan’s Monte Amiata residential complex. Designed by architects Aldo Rossi and Carlo Aymonino, the building is famous for its massive, distinct geometry, creating an interesting contrast when paired with the luminous glass stools.
