Do you remember the two girls in NANA chasing their dreams, falling out of love, and crying out on the streets of Tokyo? For many, those nights spent listening to the bands’ songs and imagining life in Room 707 remain unforgettable. Japanese streetwear brand XRAGE is now bringing those youthful feelings back to life, turning Ai Yazawa’s captivating story into a collection of clothing and accessories, along with a limited-time pop-up store where fans can wear their memories and step into that familiar world.

Inspired by the story’s two major bands, Black Stones (BLAST) and Trapnest, the XRAGE x NANA collaboration transforms visual motifs from the manga into streetwear. The collection includes graphic T-shirts, shirts, jackets, and accessories, with the signature looks and personalities of characters such as Nana Osaki, Ren, Shin, Yasu, and Reira cleverly incorporated into every piece.

Even more interestingly, the collection draws on some of the series’ most iconic themes. Ren once said, “Anyone who laughs at love is bound to cry over it,” inspiring a pair of “lock and key” necklaces symbolizing true love that can unlock one another. Visual elements from the manga’s classic single “Blast!” and the “Trigger” EP have also been miniaturized into keychain charms, from the record covers and booklet artwork to the CD’s details, sure to delight fans who love the finer details.
The surprises don’t end there! The campaign stars Xiao Qi from “Bad Love Tribe” and Marz23’s A-Ye. With Xiao Qi’s signature Japanese gyaru style and A-Ye’s rock-punk edge, the two perfectly capture NANA’s rebellious, youthful spirit. Their looks add plenty of appeal to the collaboration and are sure to spark fans’ urge to shop.
