PEACEMINUSONE, the brand led by G-Dragon, has partnered with Frédéric Malle to launch a limited-edition bottle of Musc Ravageur featuring its signature daisy with a missing petal. The 100 ml fragrance retails for HK$ 2,690 and will be available starting October 15 at Lane Crawford and K11 Musea in Hong Kong.
Frédéric Malle‘s classic Musc Ravageur gets a fresh new look. A daisy intentionally missing a petal is printed on the clear glass bottle, while a casual strikethrough runs across the original fragrance name. Put these two details together, and sharp-eyed fans will instantly recognize it: this is a special-edition launch from G-Dragon and his brand, PEACEMINUSONE.
This missing-petal daisy represents that perfection doesn’t exist
Created by master perfumer Maurice Roucel in 2000, this scent has actually been a personal favorite of G-Dragon for over a decade. Marking their first official collaboration, the release puts PEACEMINUSONE’s signature missing-petal daisy right on the bottle. The design symbolizes G-Dragon’s long-standing creative philosophy of embracing imperfection, while the strikethrough over the fragrance name brings a touch of Seoul street rebellion. More than just a perfume, this special edition sits on a table like a collector’s piece with serious attitude.
What does it smell like?
Described by many fragrance fans as “fire in a bottle,” Musc Ravageur isn’t the kind of sweet, crowd-pleasing scent right out of the bottle. It opens with a bold burst of cinnamon and clove that feels slightly spicy and guarded. But as it warms against the skin, hidden notes of osmanthus, vanilla, and musk gradually emerge, settling into a soft, suede-like, slightly sweet skin scent. This contrast between an intense opening and an intimate, gentle finish is probably why it became G-Dragon’s signature scent.
To celebrate this collaboration, the brand is currently hosting an immersive exhibition in Seoul. The 100 ml special-edition fragrance will also be available for three months starting October 15 across Hong Kong and multiple Asian markets.
