Some cuteness isn’t just skin-deep: LUSH launches “Paw Print Soap,” and the meaning behind it is truly moving
It’s not just cute on the outside — it carries a gentle kind of strength within
Some products make you want to take them home not simply because they look cute, but because the values behind them can make you rethink consumption. As fur makes a quiet return to fashion and entertainment conversations, LUSH has chosen this moment to launch its “Kindness Paw Print Soap,” a product that may look adorable but carries a deeper meaning. More than just a scented soap, it serves as a gentle yet firm reminder that our choices in the name of beauty can have kinder answers.

Around 100 million animals are killed for their fur by the global fur-farming industry each year, most of them on industrial farms. As fur has drawn renewed attention in recent years, global fur production rose 6.6% in 2024 from the previous year, bringing the issue back into view. Long committed to animal rights and environmental protection, LUSH has partnered with ACTAsia to launch the Kindness Paw Print Soap, priced at NT$ 370. It will donate 75% of sales proceeds to ACTAsia’s “Fur Free” program, supporting its ongoing work to phase out the fur industry through investigations, education, advocacy, and policy initiatives. This commitment isn’t temporary. LUSH has supported anti-fur efforts for years, from recycling fur and promoting animal protection to calling for more transparent product-labeling systems, all in the hope of giving consumers a little more understanding and kindness in their choices.
