憑著《Twilight》走紅的男主角 Robert Pattinson 很快就會有另一個身份，就是蝙蝠俠 Batman！早前 Ben Affleck 親口說出一句「I am not Batman」讓大家知道他已經卸任 Batman 一角，而 DC 新版的《The Batman》獨立電影卻仍在尋找新任 Batman，而《Variety》終於報導新版 Batman 很大機會由 Robert Pattinson 擔任，大家都非常期待這位型男換上 Batman 制服的造型！

消息指 Robert Pattinson 幾乎確認接下這個新角色，不過官方仍未發表有關聲明。Batman 這個角色除了有 Robert Pattinson 兢爭外，有指於《X-Men》系列電影飾演 Beast 一色的 Nicholas Hoult 也希望爭取成為新一任 Batman，但目前仍是 Robert Pattinson 的呼聲比較高，若然成真的話，他將會成為第 6 任飾演 Batman 的男演員，更是史上最年輕的 Batman。電影預計會於今年年末或 2020 年初開拍。
