在 Marvel 《Avengers : Infinity War》（復仇者聯盟3：無限之戰）映前，導演已經在訪問中說過今次會有英雄犧牲，打破了不少人對超級英雄不會死的固定印象。的確今次有很多英雄「被消失」，雖然每一個分別的部份都能夠打動到觀眾的心，但相信大家最有興趣想知道的絕對是樹人 Groot 在消失前跟 Rocket 說的最後一句話，很多時 Groot 說的「樹話」之後你都能透過其它角色的說話而明白得到，但今次在 Groot 消失前所拋下的一句「I am Groot」留下的就只有看著他消失而心碎的 Rocket。近日有網民忍不住要在 Twitter 上向電影導演 James Gunn 到底 Groot 最後的那句說是甚麼意思，而導演亦解答了這個問題，聽過後絕對會讓你更傷心…

網民得知這個消息後，不斷在 Twitter 上表示這個答案讓他們非常傷心，更加不明白為何這麼可愛的 Groot 要經歷兩次死亡，而在 James Gunn 解答完大家不久後，他就再次在 Twitter 上表示知道公開這個答案會讓人感動和傷心，但真的沒想過會惹來這麼大的反應，他向大家道歉並指自己其實跟大家一樣很喜歡 Groot 這個角色。
