How The Role Will Develop

Working closely with our editorial team, you will be responsible for the visual aspects of our editorials and features. Involving indoor and outdoor work, your autonomy and instincts will be required to assist and complete new projects in a timely manner. With each assignment, you will be provided with an outline however you are entitled to creative freedom to express your interpretation of the subject matter.

Job Description

This position requires the ability to provide visual solutions, layout and concept design and organization of materials for Popbee.com

• Responsible for graphic design tasks for Popbee.com and ad banner
• Responsible for web design on layout, graphics, and user interface
• Responsible in photography of products and models
• Post-processing photography and outputting publication-ready imagery

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Web, Graphic Design or related disciplines
• Ability to take control of the post-conceptual graphic design process
• Proficiency in Mac software included FreeHand, Indesign, Illustrator & PhotoShop
• Good illustration techniques
• Creative, independent, detail-minded
• A team-player able to work independently and multi-task under tight schedules
• High design-value pedigree, must have an excellent portfolio
• Good command of both English & Chinese
• Graphic design experience in the media industry or advertising agency, web-design experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduate with excellent portfolio will also considered
• Having own camera equipment is an added bonus

Popbee is seeking a Full-Time Sales Executive to join our industry leading sales team. As a Sales Executive, your main responsibility is to manage relationships with new and existing advertisers, provide excellent customer service, develop sales plans and advertising proposals and coordinate and execute the campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Sale of online & traditional advertising spaces.
• Managing advertising campaigns, building proposals and customize ideas for clients.
• Prospecting, identifying and acquiring new affluent segment customers.
• Continually pitch to advertising agencies on new products/services and build on accounts.
• Working with Editorial and Web team to successfully manage and execute advertising campaigns from beginning to end.
• Proactively research and update yourself on new online marketing sales trends and ideas.
• Achieve individual’s sales targets.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of account handling, sales or retail experience particularly in fashion, publishing field or digital space.
• Familiar or maintained an active clientele in the fashion & retail industry is an advantage.
• A good presenter to introduce complex web advertising ideas to clients.
• Strong negotiation & PR skills.
• Internet savvy a must.
• Proven record of successful process management and relationships made with high-level clients.
• Fluent in English a MUST (spoken and written).
• Must be based in Hong Kong

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills over email and phone.
• Able to work independently and effectively is a must.

How The Role Will Develop

You will be working closely with our current designers and developers to create and grow our line of websites. Using your innovation and fresh perspective, you will be given the chance to show your artistic flare by constructing inspiring and distinct designs that will compliment the project at hand.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality designs (wireframes, icons, assets and etc) for use in websites
• Design advertising creative mediums for marketing efforts
• Improve product usability

Qualifications

• Master understanding of color, space, and typography
• Solid Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Strong visual and user-focused design skills accompanied with an eye for detail
• Experience in designing for the web
• Basic web development (front-end) knowledge, specifically XHTML and CSS
• Knowledge of Flash is highly regarded

• Responsible for product/model photo shooting
• Photo shoot planning (scouting locations, art direction, scheduling, lighting & renting equipment)

Qualifications

• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Having own camera equipment is an added bonus
• A team-player able to work independently and multi-task under tight schedules
• Self-motivated, creative, well-organised
• Good spoken command of Cantonese
• Immediate availability is preferable
• Experienced in Photo Editing
• Must be based in Hong Kong
